4.30am start for swimming with dolphins....eek!!

For to the place around 5.30 and were given thick wrt suits, snorkels, masks and flippers, shown a briefing before being taken to the boat.

After around 15/20 mins of looking for dolphins we found a pod of around 50. I was a bit nervous getting into the water as I have only snorkelled once before in calm water, but as soon as I was heading towards the dolphins I'd forgotten all that!

It was amazing, they were so playful and inquisitive, it was like they were playing chicken with you, swimming at you then diving or turning last minute! They responded really well if you made a noise through your snorkel or played with the zip on your jacket. Great fun, we were in the water for around 45mins, then on the deck watching them for around half an hour.

The rest of the day was spent in an adrenalin high! Ending at Rangitana at a working sheep farm where we were camping next to the river and fields of sheep...bliss
