Lazy morning walk to the church at Rangitana, which was damaged in an earthquake, it's a beautiful church, a shame about the damage, in a lovely setting on the Canterbury Plains, but surrounded by snow covered mountains.

We then headed to Lake Tekapo which due to the glacier is an amazing blue, shame it was so cold! From there we went to our wilderness camp at Lake Pukaki. It was icy cold, with snow covered mountains across the lake from our camp.

Wandering along the edge of the lake just greeted you with yet more stunning views. Early night by everyone after kidding ourselves that the bus was warmer than outside for an hour!
