Bah humbug

I had to pop down to the little Tesco for some milk to make Yorkshire puddings. It was mobbed! I've never seen it this busy and asked whether it was some sort of Black Sunday. I'm not feeling very festive and I certainly don't want to be jostled when I'm dragging my gouty ankle round the store. I hope that this is a one-off and that the store can go back to its usual somnolent self.
