Festive Tradition

Crazy busy day. Early start (for a Sunday) taking her to my sister for the morning. They went to church and she had a rehearsal for the children's choir. She came back with a lovely angel Christmas card. I arrived to them just after they got back and we all had lunch together (including their puppy who was utterly furious at the notion of not being included and near dug a whole in the dining room door to be let in). We had to leave after main course as Katie was due at her friend's birthday party. It was a Frozen themed softplay party at which she met an "Elsa" and ate tea in a Frozen themed room. After the party we headed back to our house to meet Granny and Grandad. We went to town for the light turning on. We joined the outdoor service, first Christmas carols of the year, some lollipops, seeing friends, and the annual ride on the swings. Plus afterwards she chose this year's festive hat. Its an incredibly sparkly santa hat. She is incredibly excited. And also excited for the advent calendar parcels that are waiting for the morning. DECEMBER IS COMING!!!
