Christmas busy

4years 40days

Ballet started the morning - she was really happy to go off and very proud of herself when she came back, telling me that she'd done all of it again. Not long now until the exam show, only 2 weeks. We got straight off to the train home and headed to nursery for the Christmas fair. I had planned for us to pop in, buy a bun and raffle tickets, then head home. We were there nearly 2 hours. She had a wonderful time playing with Poppy and Theo. They claimed the dance floor of the disco, they decorated buns, made reindeer food, did colour pictures and exploited the opportunity to play in the toddler play area instead of their own. Katie refused to go up to Santa. However he'd seen her and came to find us to give her the present instead. He earned himself big brownie points for that! The mums all gave the children their 'one more dance'. They loved their one more dance. The leaving suggestion didnt go well, so they had several more dances, which gave mummies the opportunity for fresh warm scones and a cup of tea.

After dropping all the things home, we walked into town with Katie in the wrap on my tummy. We were heading to the new Christmas Food & Drink market in the towns biggest church. It was a lot more fabulous than I had expected. We had a nice walk round the stalls, had a cupcake and fresh apple juuice, then spent a long while listening to the live folk music.

A fabulous Christmassy day!
