Just enjoying the sunshine

What a fantastic day, wall to wall sunshine! My boss asked me last week if it was always so damp and gloomy in Galashiels, not sure he believed me when I said we sometimes get good weather. Unfortunately, he was heading back to the west on Saturday night so he still hasn't seen Gala in the the sun.

I had a walk round Gunknowe Loch this afternoon when I went to get my paper but all the swans and ducks were huddled up at one end getting fed so I tried for some gull shots instead. I liked the way the sun was shining on this one.
