Fairy Lights?

A cold, dull, grey day.

Eleanor and I attended a Christmas Lunch for ministers and their wives in our area. This has become an annual event in the home of a fine American Pastor and his wife who serve in the Brechin area. Much eating and talking was the order of the day.

By the time we got home it was getting dark - it was only 3.30pm! Since it was 1st December and the fuchsia were still out, I decided that they deserved one more blip this year. Normally they look like dancers but in the dark and with the flash they looked like Christmas fairy lights - very appropriate.

I don't know quite what the weather is going to do next but there are certainly some odd goings on in the garden for this time of year. I guess one hard frost will put paid to many of the flowers which are still in bloom.... but who knows!
