Not the December Challenge; not mono season
I did’t read the challenge notes very carefully. I saw ‘season’ but missed ‘mono’. As either one of these implements could be used to ‘season’ I thought I could get away with it, but not in colour. And I do like the colour - too much so, to convert to B&W.
Before Peugeot started making bicycles and cars, they were making salt and pepper mills. And shortly before that, in 1840, their first coffee mill. And before that …. watches and corset stays. (There is another ‘before that’ in 1810, when they converted their flour mill to steel production. But you get the gist).
These particular mills are not that old - perhaps just 20 years or so. It’s nice to have something in the kitchen with a long and colourful family history, besides Anniemay.
I did the Aldi run this morning and spotted another ‘amazing thing you can buy in Aldi - but may not necessarily need’. Today’s special was a full size classical guitar. That surely beats the 1 metre long masonry drill I spotted a few weeks ago.
