Whiskey

With the weather forecast to get nasty again we set off early, our last day on the boat sadly after a fantastic week. However the morning wind didn't materialise, so we stopped at Motuihe Island to tidy up the boat and wait for the tide to rise so we could get the boat in the marina.

Lots of cleaning, but of course lots of swimming, including Whiskeys last swim. She's a labradoodle, and like Adam is obsessed with fish, and swimming, She leaps off the boat and then climbs up the ladder. Amazing.

Anyway, a week off school for the kids and their first time sailing. They loved it. Swimming and fishing every day, learning to sail and general do "boat things", spending lots of time with their aunt and uncle. Super family time and sad that it's over. Next year again maybe! Highlight of the trip, without a doubt the Poor Knights. If you're a keen snorkeler or diver and are in NZ, then head out there. It's amazing.
