Pea soup pond
I do find this time of year uninspiring for taking photos - I think many of us in the UK do, as it is grey with flat light and just boring. I went in search of a photo around Cobham Park but when I got there were signs that filming was in progress and there were so many trucks and cars parked that I just drove on. I wonder what they are filming - could only be some dark and brooding Dickensian tale in this weather.
So my only shot today is of this pond that was so green with an algae of sorts that it provided some bright colour in the dull landscape.
Luke heard last night that he has an interview at Oxford next week - nice of them to give him so much notice! (Adam has known for a month that he was to have an interview at Cambridge). I am pleased as he is flying home from Strasbourg on Friday night to prepare for these interviews. We are so excited to be seeing him again, especially Gavin, who has not seen him since he left on 30 August. He is in the middle of exams at Strasbourg University so he has had to get special permission to defer some of his exams until after the interviews.
