Another fundraiser last night but this was a proper old knees up in the church hall, with tea and cake, quizes and raffles. Very down earth and great fun. I have a friend from France staying this week so that was some introduction to British culture there. They don't really have local charities or local fundraising in France so it is a weird concept I guess that charities do the work the state should be doing and have to raise their own funds to do so.

This is Emma, a friend from treasure Trove. She's a very talented costume designer and it shows in her sense of dress, she makes a lot of her own stuff. And is into knitiffiti which is the coolest thing. Kudos. Here she is eating cake.
