Driving Home for Christmas
One of my favourite Christmas songs by Chris Rea.

We weren't actually driving home for Christmas, but from Christmas shopping in York.
The sun just started setting as we left, and as we drove towards Leeds the sky changed to these amazing colours, which kept changing all the way home, until by then it was nearly dark.

We have had a lovely day looking round York. Cold, but sunny. Just the sort of weather I like for Christmas shopping.
Among other things we have brought home is a Christmas penguin!
( To be blipped later, when I decide what to do with him!)

A very enjoyable lunch at our favourite Italian restaurant. " Lucia."
I had mussels in white wine and cream, followed by a skewer of char grilled chicken, pancetta, and mushrooms, with chips and salad. Along with a nice glass of Italian red wine.

Now home with the fire roaring, and a nice cup of tea!
