The heart of Christmas

There are so many beautiful decorations at the Christmas market stalls!

Day 2: During Advent we are waiting. Longing. Yearning. But what for? Is it the time spent with family, friends and loved ones? This is certainly more significant for me this year with being abroad. Is it that gift at the top of your Christmas list? Or is it a new revelation of who God is and how much he loves us as we focus on the coming of his son to earth.

At Christmas time we might want our hearts to be in the right place but all the busyness and other elements of this season can distract us.
