Today I met my Grampie and my Aunty Zoe!
Today was a wonderful day.
Daddy, Mummy and I have been travelling for a long time to get home to Cornwall to be with our family for Christmas. I had to be careful about what I posted about the trip because it was a surprise for my Aunty Zoe for her birthday!
We were all very excited for the trip. I was a very good boy on the plane. Mummy and I did lots of walking up and down the aisles, smiling at people and making lots of friends and I hardly even cried for the whole 24 hour plane journey!
When we arrived at Heathrow my Grampie was there waiting for me with my Grannie. It was really lovely to meet him after seeing him many times on Skype. We had a big cuddle and I gave him a big 'I love you Grampie' smile. I remembered my Grannie from her stay with us, so she got lots of 'I love you' smiles too.
On our way back through Cornwall we popped in to see my Nain and Taid which was really nice. It was the first time that I had been together with all my grandparents in the same room.
Then we drove to Aunty Zoe's house. Mummy put me on the doorstep in my car seat, knocked on her door and hid. Aunty Zoe had a big surprise when she opened the door. For a moment or two she didn't really know what on earth was going on and then there were lots of happy tears. It was so wonderful to meet her and my Uncle Tom too!
I am looking forward to getting to know my Aunty Zoe and Grampie over the next few weeks. And soon I get to meet my Aunty Sian too. I am so lucky to spend my first Christmas in Cornwall with all of my lovely family.
