Black Friday
Black Friday. One of my favorite days of the year. It’s a time when it’s completely acceptable to stay up all night and push your way through people. Okay, to be honest, I hardly ever actually push people, and my Aunt has to give me pep talks that it’s okay if I don’t apologize every time I bump into someone. But anyways, I really do like black Friday. We go every year, and normally we stick pretty much to a routine. We start at the Hershey Outlets, waiting outside of Aeropostale until they open at 11 o’clock. Then, we make our way down the outlets, ending up at the Starbucks, which we all need at this point. After that, we go down to Park City in Lancaster. There’s random coffee and snack breaks scattered throughout the hours of the morning as we search the stores for good deals. After Park City, which takes a few hours, we’re pretty much done. Sometimes we’ll go to other random stores if we are looking for something in particular, and sometimes I’ll go back out with my dad and brother, who usually start around the time we get back. We tried taking them with one time a couple of years ago, but it didn’t work out that well. This year was a little different. We had to wait until my cousin got off of work, which was at 2 o’clock in the morning, so we got a late start. We only got back to the house after 11:30 and we didn’‘t end up sleeping at all. We were tired, that’s for sure, but I can’t wait to do it again next year.
