I have decided that I do most definitely love running. I am never going to be fast or run a marathon and my technique is probably terrible and I look like a plonker.

However I still love it. My favourite is running through parks and similar environments. As a woman running solo I do get a bit twitchy about it. My local park is always a hive of activity and I stick to the main path.

Today I dropped the car off at the garage and ran home. I ran down the road I walked up and down numerous times as a teenager to my friends. I always used to walk down the middle and I did exactly that but ran it so it was all on grass. Then I ran through a very quiet park but I was super speedy until I came across another couple. Then I threw caution to the wind and ran through the local nature reserve. It was lovely! Very back to nature. It's risky but I do enjoy it a lot more than running on the road.

Anyway I was not going to but I am tempted to do the new parkrun which is very close to me on Saturday.

The only problem with running is my appetite goes through the roof! A whole tin of beans and a piece of homemade bread! Wonderful!

I will never be a thin runner.

Thoughts with the family of the mom and new baby in Bristol. When I was researching home birth in 2006 the leading cause of maternal death (uk)was suicide and sadly it still is today. How absolutely dreadful.
