Three jays

I mentioned yesterday that I had been on the phone to a friend when the three jays all appeared together at my bird table.

Before then I hadn't been sure if I was seeing one jay frequently - or, as it has turned out, a family of them.

Jaffa appeared and that clinched the blip.

No sign of Jaffa today.

I was on hand with the Canon when the hungry troop appeared. They were very hard to capture. I could focus on the one - and then the other two would move.

But I just had to record my excitement.
