Red Alert.
I treated myself to a poinsettia today for a nice bright splash of red colour. They only had one left and it wasn't the most perfect specimen. I mentioned to LooseCanon that I would like to take a quick snap of it . I should have known that wouldn't be possible. It took about half an hour and I now know a lot more about colour balance, histograms, overexposure of red, kelvins, and much more besides. I will have forgotten it all by tomorrow no doubt.
I've got about thirty photos of a poinsettia and it's still not brilliant. It still looks like the mangy last one left in the shop. I might try again a bit more macro.
