Sound Check

What a great evening! First of all our 3rd language exchange - and although a small group, it was a great atmosphere! Then got invited to an exhibition launch with one of the ladies (who writes about cultural events for the english-speaking newspaper)...it's been 15 years since the Old Town was declared an UNESCO World Heritage site, so there are 15 sets of photos by 15 different photographers...we we greeted with Cava and tapas, and then (unexpectedly to us) treated to a wonderful classical concert in this beautiful room...if it had been light, you'd have seen the sea through those windows... The music was amazing, not normally my taste, but live, in this room, with a small group of people, a pianist and a tenor...just amazing.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Wonderful unexpected evenings like tonight - good memories are made of nights like these! And we were the only English people there, everything was in Catalan.
2) Our flat now being brilliant white again - the painters were in today sorting the damp problems.
3) Asha's eye being much more back to normal...I'm so relieved!
