More Storms!

We were planning to head out to Parsley Bay in the eastern suburbs this morning (it is our annual pilgrimage to show them how us inner westies do breakfast - Champaign with strawberries, eggs and bacon, croissants with lashings of jam and cream plus brewed coffee to finish followed by the Saturday paper quiz.) but they were predicting storms as early as 9am so we went to a local park that had shelter. There were no storms until the one arrived in the photo around 5.30 pm so was disappointed that we hadn't gone to our normal location.

I was hoping for some good lightning but I only saw one good flash which I missed capturing. The storm came from the north (the right hand side of the photo) so I was soon scampering to the car as the downpour hit.
