December travels - Day 2

Arrived in Bangkok just after 7:30 this morning.

Met Jon and we caught the train to the apartment.

This is the view from the balcony in the lounge. Lovely to look out on greenery as well as the high rise buildings.

The new apartment is lovely, quite large with two ensuite bedrooms, lounge/dining room which also has proper. Kitchen in it complete with a cooker!

I know this sounds daft but in their previous flat there was a microwave with a single burner. It is so cheap to eat out that 'proper' kitchens aren't really standard.

Overcast but still mid thirties.

Lunch in a small Japanese restaurant followed by an hour long foot massage (£8), Jon had to nudge me when I started snoring. The massage did take place while lying in a lazy boy chair.

Home for a snooze and to see dana. Lovely evening catching up which finished for me around 19:30.
