Terillium

Hydrangea anomala subsp. Petiolaris

It seems happy enough growing up this west facing wall and relatively trouble free. It hosts a spring flowering clematis and a late summer flowering one. You can also see the remains of the Cobaea scandens which is providing the green foliage and with lots of remaining flower buds, despite our recent heavy frosts.
Made some macaroons this morning and worked in the dell this afternoon. Lots of weeding and cutting back. Two wheelbarrows full. Where does it all come from?
