Down to The Wire

An early start and around a very benign M25 to visit a prison in the morning, back by 2.00pm and was able to do a few more little tasks before getting to the gym before 5.00pm.

The significance of Down to The Wire is it was touch and go that I found a blip today, this was a last minute attempt at being flippant. Did it work? I think not, but the 100% record is maintained; just.

Runrig, as Scots will know, are a brilliant band from the Western Isles and Skye. Although we live in the South East of England, diametrically opposite from Runrig territory we've been a fan of this band for nearly 20 years. We've seen them many times in the South East but also at Edinburgh Castle one memorable (and dry) summer's evening. We went to see one of their 40th anniversary tour concerts in Portsmouth in April and it was truly superb. Up on a par with seeing them in Guildford when we were standing at the very front of the audience between Bruce and Malcolm.
