Picture perfect patchwork

Today I had the pleasure of meeting an old friend and a newer friend for lunch and then we headed to a quilting shop nearby, although to call it a quilting shop is like calling Amazon a book store. My eyes were opened to the wonders of this craft. The main purpose of the visit was for me to choose a backing and quilting design for the quilt which said new friend has put together for me using fabrics from mine, my mother's and my sisters' clothes as we were growing up. The memories the quilt will hold are untellable. I'll blip it when it's complete. In the meantime here is a gorgeous creation on display that caught my eye.
