Shepherd's Pie

Just put Squidge to bed safe in the knowledge that she will sleep tonight! Exhausted her today with walks (see Chorlton festive scene blip pic), park trips, scooter excursions, jigsaws and movies (Tinkerbell is the current favourite). She was a bit fragile, always seconds away from a tantrum but I kept switching activities to keep her distracted!

Angus spent the day in bed. I was on nurse duties. One good thing about him convalescing is that I get to make all his meals - lots of soup, fresh fruit etc! I'll get him well in no time!

Decided to cook us a shepherds pie from scratch tonight. We haven't been cooked from scratch in so long and have been relying on ping and ding meals. Despite it being so stressful at the moment with everything, there was something therapeutic about cooking a proper meal. Really enjoyed it and it was delicious.
