Half day off work for a couple of appointments and a dash round buying the bulk of the christmas shopping. I resisted the temptation provided by HMV's Latvian section.

My music taste isn't eclectic enough for me to know any Latvian musicians, so let's go down a tenuous path. My mate's had a band called Baltic, named after a dodgy lager brand we drank a lot of at T in the Park in 1996. I'm really struggling to remember who I watched that year, but I definitely enjoyed Urusei Yatsura.
