Colours...
It was beautiful and frosty this morning, but I had lots to do, so not a lot of chance to get out and about.
Mr U&L and I decided not to go to see the steam train, as it was so cold and dark and instead had a quick bacon sandwich in the warm.
After the sandwich I went for a quick trip into the garden, to look for a blip. and decided on this shot of the leaves on our Cotoneaster which are just beginning to change ready to fall.
I like this plant, as it is good in every season, with fresh green leaves and flowers which drive the bees wild in spring, lovely green leaves all summer which change to various shades of purple, red and orange in late autumn and red berries all winter which feed the birds.
Sadly I don't think there will be any frost tomorrow, but we shall see.
