SUMMER:

Like I said, we have alternate days - & today is a good one. Feels like Summer. This is taken from the middle of the garden where I have another 'sit out' area under the maples. There in the middle, Peter is on the John Deere - oops, cutting the lawns on a Sunday ? I'm sure my Victorian Grandmother would disapprove ! You can see I'm big on the Iceberg rose, there is a bed to the right of Peter, & tall climbers in the front of the house. It is healthy, repeats quickly, has very few prickles, grows easily from cuttings & is a joy to have in the garden. I am off to the Ryders later this afternoon, they are hosting our Street Christmas party. A lovely Sunday here.
