HOSTAS & MAPLES

At the far left, in the background, you will see the flagpole so you know we are at the bottom of the garden. I have a border of variegated hostas round another heather bed. For my journal I want to record the light green, single branch showing in the middle (it is a tall tree but here, only a lower branch) is another favourite maple of mine - ACER PALMATUM DISS. SEIRYU. The delicate, lime green lacy foliage always reminds me of Maiden Hair Tree fern. Believe me, it is very beautiful.

Grey & over caste again, but not cold; I would think a perfect day for the Monday walkers.
