A very special train

An elf, one of many, carrying a sack bursting with toys for excited children, climbs aboard one of this year’s first Santa Special Trains at Keighley station today. Every year our preserved local steam railway, the Keighley and Worth Valley Line, runs Santa Specials where gifts are delivered by a very important celebrity (Santa) to children as the train, pulled by a steam engine, puffs along the line. Xmas celebrations are held at each of the stations along the line, including brass bands and Victorian choirs, and the stations are festively decorated to make this a magical experience for both the children and their parents.
