Thrift Store Finds!

It was early afternoon when we started out the door to walk the pups and realized rain was lightly sprinkling. Our plan had been to first walk the dogs and then put them in the car so we could go to Morro Bay to stop at the bank, the thrift store, and then to do some grocery shopping. So we skipped the walk and headed out.

We drove the 4-miles south to Morro Bay and drove right out of the rain. When we had woke this morning, the sky was clear without a trace of rain. This moist weather bank crept in during the late morning hours and rather surprised us.

Once we arrived in Morro Bay, we stopped at the ATM outside the bank to deposit a birthday check I had received. Then we stopped at our favorite little thrift store, "Fabulous Finds," owned and operated by the nice folks from St.Timothy's Catholic Church, and that is where I found the three items pictured here. The shoes were especially a bargain for $6.00. The we went to the dollar store, Rite-Aid, and finally Albertson's grocery store. We made one last stop at Lemmos Pet Store to buy a bottle of anti-itching lotion for the three pups.

And that rather sums-up our day.
