First snow

A cold windy night interrupted by hail storms but clearly the mountains of South Uist had some real snow. Ghosting above the nearer hill - Rueval in fact the hill we climbed about a fortnight ago - are the South Uist mountains and a cloud. Quite difficult to work out where the cloud ends and the mountains start.
Tricia's spinning day on South Uist so I spent some time pottering about archaeologising around the house - one human tooth being one of the things I came across!
The evening and it was back to the Screen Machine for our third film in four days - more than I usually see in four years. We watched What we did on our holiday and easily the most enjoyable of the three films. Gentle British comedy with a star cast and setting at its best. A cross between Local Hero and Outnumbered perhaps describes it best.
