Mason's Regency

This little ironstone dish is for holding cigarettes from the days when it was still socially acceptable to offer your dinner guests a smoke whilst sitting at the dinner table. It belonged to my Mum and I have, for a long time, collected other pieces from this set. The Regency design is still available to buy today but it's more tricky to find original pieces.

So, first day of the no alcohol, no caffeine, no red meat, no fun - as the boy candidly pointed-out tonight - detox regime. First day's always the easiest let's just see how smug I'm feeling a week from now...Or should it be let's just see how weak I'm feeling a smug from now?
