The South Causeway to Wareham

The South Causeway, about half a mile long, links Wareham to the village of Stoborough.

This photo shows Wareham's southern face. All the buildings are north of the River Frome. Lady St Mary Church is almost concealed behind the row of leafless poplars to the right. Wareham Quay is in front of the row of white buildings.

The early-afternoon winter light adds a touch of drama to the scene.
