On higher ground

I've visited the grounds of Oakham Castle many times over the past 5 years, but never taken in this view. Armed with National Lottery money, the Council are refurbishing the site and have cleared all the brambles away from the 'ramparts'. Consequently, it is a lot easier to climb up the 'Motte' than before. So I did.

Posted all my Christmas cards. Bought a few stocking fillers. It's a start :-)
