Ablaze with light

Mr M and I headed in to Berwick this afternoon to do some Christmas shopping for his side of the family. But before hitting the shops, we walked to the end of the pier in the hope of spotting dolphins or seals. No dolphins, but one curious seal raised its head above the water to have a look at us! There was a biting, chill wind so, when we reached the lighthouse at the end of the pier, we headed straight back to the car.

As the sun went down, its last rays set the windows of these houses ablaze with orange light. You'd be forgiven for thinking that there's a fire raging within!
