Boat that rocked...

Very much needed lie-in, followed by a day of catch-up on so many things that I can't even contemplate where to begin... In short, a pre-Christmas panic day that included an hour working in the garden, painting woodwork in the bathroom, heaps of washing up and other domestic stuff.

Relaxing evening though. Rabbit stew, log fire, a couple of very large whiskies and 'The Boat that Rocked' on TV. A great film that took me back to my early teens. At the tender age of 13 I was motivated to write to Ted Short and to the Prime Minister to protest against the Marine Offences Act, which outlawed the pirate radio stations.
