Forest Floor

It was a chilly but sunny day. As is normal on one of the wife's days off, we picked up my sons dogs and headed off to Symonds Yat East in The Forest of Dean to do one of our favourite walks. It's a longish journey from my sons house but worth the trek.

Half way we stop off for a proper coffee at The Forest Lodges which encourage walkers and is dog friendly. They serve nice coffee is mugs. My sort of service.

The blip photo is of the sun shining through the trees on to the forest floor. I like the way it's sort of landed on a fern.
