Geelong, Christmas capital of Australia

Here is what we are obliged to call the "Iconic Christmas tree". It is vast, sparkles in the sunlight, and glows and flashes on the dark. A little tacky but a lot of fun.
And. ... It is working. Business in the cafes and shops along the waterfront is booming. Tourists are coming and staying the night to see it. After a year of massive job losses, some good news is very welcome.
