Naughty Heron

I wanted to try out a used lens I bought awhile back ..a big 500mm one for mainly birds and the Herons when they nest in the spring. We noticed some had come back to the nesting area early..maybe the babies from last year. Big R agreed to haul my tripod and big lens etc. while we did the hooligan walk ---then I took a few shots.. I'm excited to use this in the spring in better weather !
