This is the view, warts and all, from our bedroom window as I got up this morning.

At this time of year we don't have a brilliant view of the sunrise as it is around the gable of the house and from outside we are too low down but I still thought it was worth the blip.

There is a hint of snow in the air as we prepare to take our friend to the station for the start of her journey to Vancouver for Christmas. Don't suppose it will be as sunny and warm as we remember it from September.

It's definitely very cold!
