Amsterdam

And we are in Amsterdam. We left Copenhagen in lovely sunshine, and arrived in Amsterdam in the rain. Took a walk and had a lovely meal of pea soup plus mash potatoes and a giant meatball. The last time we were here was 2 years ago, nothing much has changed although there are some new shops, even one selling food from the UK and the USA. And everywhere we go people recognise our South African accents.

One bad thing is that there are billboards up everywhere warning people not to buy drugs from people on the street because 3 tourists have died and some more are in hospital. Apparently they sold them white heroin and said it was cocaine. I am not sure if it will act as a deterrent for people who buy drugs, I hope it does though.
