Winter Harvest
First full day in Iceland and hopefully less eventful than last night. We have spent the day in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula driving around between snow-storms to find interesting view points and we were surprisingly succssful given one of the larget storms of the year hit the West of Iceland last night. All around the countryside lays abandoned farm machinery rusting away which looks great offset against the snow.
Tomorrow we are heading for the relative calm of the South and the Golden Circle. Looking forward to geysirs and waterfalls in the next few days and less storms.
