the day dawned and Em's first words this morning were an excited "is it the nativity today?" Em spent the morning at home with me and after lunch went into nursery. Her in her silver ribbon trimmed skirt, me hoping the 'angel' top she had her heart set on wearing wasn't already taken. At 2.30pm the show began with a rousing and energetic sheep dance, followed by a gentler angel's song, a jumpy camel dash and finally a sleeping baby lullaby. All very cute, all very endearing. The first of many I hope.
