Peer Mediators! ???

School is a whole lot different these days (personally, for the better in many ways!).

After filling out an application form then going through a formal interview process, Niamh was selected to become a Peer Mediator.

After further training, she came home excitedly wearing her new badge and cap along with her certificate.

From what I can gather, the Peer Mediator's job is to resolve minor bickering in the school. The cynics may say it's to do the job of the playground assistants but the booklet has some really good advice in it and I reckon it provides the children with some useful life skills.

Don't think she's allowed to knock heads together though!
