Creative Decorations

I think Mexicans are masters of repurposing. They take whatever is available and bend it to their use. Take this Christmas "tree" outside a local tequila place. Plastic Coke bottles painted green become the branches and crinkly ribbon add colorful accents. The only store bought items are the balls, but I suspect they came from somewhere else originally as well, that's the Mexican way.

Exciting to have yesterday's turtle make the Spotlight page. Hope she is in the 2% who make it back in eight years to lay eggs and help maintain the species.
