Hugo and I

Hugo is an 8,5-year-old crossbred cat, who has just started to gain some "old boy gestures". We got him from an animal shelter seven years ago.

Sadly, our lady Hilma passed away a month ago (when I was in Hungary, actually) after a fatal flu; she was 4,5 years old only. Mom buried her in our backyard near the river shore.

At any rate, Hugo is doing fine and will hopefully live a long and healthy life. I'm not yet sure if Mom is going to get him a new companion, though.
