Sod Cottage

This cottage was built about the 1880's. Built out of bricks of straw and clay. It is not the original roof which would have been thatch.
It was the original farm cottage on this farm which is now owned by friends of mine. It is great to look at these relics and think what they would have been like in their hey day.
Morning with Rainie picking up the wedding photos we did two weeks back, it will be good to add mine to them and get them on their way.
She kindly helped me edit some photos that I am getting put on canvas for my son for Christmas.
I then did some grocery shopping and met so many I knew it5 was a long time getting around the aisles.
Now enjoying listening to Johnny Cash singing Christmas songs while I work at the computer.
