Dress Rehearsal

A real nightmare of a rehearsal for the school panto. I went home after work and got stuck on the hill out of Wanlockhead. Tried 5 times to get over into Leadhills, even had the local plough guy working on it but without grit it was even slippier. headed back into Sanquhar and Rosie in the garage tearoom gave me a fab plate of chips and a cuppa. I then went to the rehearsals. They went well but as we were leaving the fire alarm went off and the janny was away doing.... fire service training! Fiona drove us back up the hill and just made it. Mum's road was impassable. I walked home in lightening.
