This Moon is way too big!

Travelling down to Cambridge we drove along the A68 and stopped at the Scotland/England Border, just to check that the border was still open after the recent shenanigans, and thought that the moon was too big.

The reason for this illusion, when the moon is lowish on the horizon, is not yet clear to me. But the English moon is certainly the same as the Scottish. This I can affirm after driving across and keeping the moon in sight!
